What You’ll Do:
The Business Development Executive will generate new sales opportunities and add qualified leads to the sales funnel. This role is responsible for prospecting and following up on qualified leads.
• Drive revenue growth for Bardavon’s workplace injury recovery suite, including identifying and pursuing customer opportunities, expanding existing contracts by maintaining and growing customer relationships
• May qualify leads from marketing campaigns, existing clients, or cold calling potential clients
• Lead customer-facing presentations and other discussions
• Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services through designated line of business
• Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs)
• Provide guidance, feedback & expertise to other teams at Bardavon (e.g. Marketing, Product, Clinical, Customer Success, Customer Solutions) on how to develop our offerings.
• Stay up to date on market trends in workplace safety across industries, and report back on learnings to Bardavon Executive Leadership
• Analyze local market information and provide ongoing local market, monthly sales activity reports, forecasting and ad-hoc feedback
• Responsible for meeting quarterly revenue goals and sales activity goals
• Leading informative interactions by; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences
• Meeting all quotas for sales related activities assigned including by not limited to: cold, active, inactive calls, appointments and interviews; meeting or exceeding annual sales goals as assigned
• Collaborating with management team on sales goals, planning and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans
• Other duties as required/assigned
Must have’s:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of, training and experience may substitute for education requirement.
• 5+ years of experience in Sales or Consulting
• Experience with lead generation and prospect management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM software
• Ability to travel as needed (conferences and client requested meetings)
Nice to Have:
• 10+ years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety
• Demonstrate in-depth Safety related knowledge and skill
• Demonstrate, anticipate, and solve practical problems and resolve issues independently
• Maintain willingness to travel when necessary
• Able to communicate with all customers at a high level in both oral and written format

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Ability to lift 15 pounds at a time
• Willingness to travel to client meetings, industry conferences, and Bardavon HQ in Kansas City as needed
Compensation:
- The range of base salary for this role is between $94,000 to $119,800 plus benefits. Please note that base salary is a guideline and will vary based on factors such as work location, qualifications, skill level, and competencies. Additionally, salary is just one component of Bardavon’s total rewards package. Depending on the role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program and/or incentive pay.
