Position Overview:
As a Healthcare Advocate at ModRN Health, you will be the driving force behind advocating for clients' rights and ensuring they receive optimal healthcare services. Your role involves direct interaction with clients and clinicians, coordinating communication, and providing crucial support to those facing healthcare challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Client Advocacy: Champion the rights and well-being of clients within the healthcare system, ensuring they receive appropriate care and support.
- Communication Coordination: Facilitate and manage effective communication between clients, healthcare providers, and relevant stakeholders.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to privacy regulations and ensuring meticulous documentation.
- Appointment Advocacy: Advocate for clients in scheduling and coordinating appointments, providing the necessary information and support for medical consultations.
- Research and Information: Conduct in-depth research on healthcare resources, insurance coverage, and pertinent information to offer clients informed guidance.
- Billing Resolution: Advocate for clients in resolving billing and insurance-related inquiries, collaborating with healthcare providers and insurers on their behalf.
- Empowerment Initiatives: Play a role in initiatives to educate and empower clients, enhancing their understanding of healthcare options, rights, and available resources.
Qualifications:
- Empathy: Display a profound sense of empathy and a dedicated commitment to assisting individuals in navigating the healthcare system.
- Organizational Skills: Possess strong organizational skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Communication: Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional interaction with clients, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrate the ability to identify challenges and proactively seek solutions, working collaboratively to overcome obstacles.
- Medical Knowledge: Preferably, have a basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare processes.
- Autonomous Work: Ability to work autonomously, making independent decisions and taking initiative to ensure effective healthcare advocacy.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

- Medical office: 3 years (Required)

- Overland Park, KS 66213: Relocate before starting work (Required)
