Your Mission:

As an Account Executive, you’ll report directly to the Sr Dir of Sales and be responsible for acquiring net new customers (targeting companies 200 employees and up) and expanding your current customer accounts. You will be required to lead the entire sales process, from prospecting to consulting to negotiating and bringing deals through to a close.

  • Alongside your very own Sailebot, you will consistently practice your inherent prospecting abilities via the channels of your choice
  • Conduct discovery calls to uncover and address business challenges and company initiatives that Sailes will solve
  • Demonstrate how Sailes provides tailored solutions to meet the prospect's most important outcomes
  • Share best practices, collaborate and invent the future while running your shop with your peers and sales leadership team
  • Negotiate contracts ranging from five to high-six figure annual contracts
  • Meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets while consistently building down-stream pipeline
  • Understand prospect’s needs to develop accurate scoping and success criteria for successful implementation
  • Own customer expansions, collaborating effectively with the customer success team
  • Consistently demonstrate a willingness to learn and sell innovative solutions
  • Liaise with marketing and product to continue to grow Sailes

Competencies

  • Ability to manage and navigate sales cycles averaging 3-9 months with contract values starting at 5 figures upwards
  • Proven success selling disruptive, complex solutions into medium to large organizations
  • A thought leader in sales technologies and GTM processes
  • Strong written and spoken communication and the ability to communicate abstract value into tangible results
  • Ability to build and cultivate strong, trusting relationships and partnerships
  • Strong pipeline management and negotiation skills

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of full cycle selling experience
  • Proven track record across multiple stages of early company life cycles
  • Exceptional ability to work through ambiguity and take initiative to own your number
  • Ability to apply strategic and abstract thinking
  • Experience communicating to sales executives
  • Commutable proximity to NYC
