Job Description

As a Product Designer at Sailes, you’ll shape the future of autonomous prospecting by turning complex AI-powered workflows into simple, human, and impactful experiences. Whether you’re stepping into a senior role or looking to grow into one, you’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer teams to bring our vision of “AI for Sales” to life.

Depending on your level of experience, you will:

  • Craft and contribute to the vision: Help define and champion a design vision that aligns with Sailes’ strategy of becoming the operating system for sales prospecting.
  • Lead or support discovery: Conduct user research and usability testing, ranging from supporting structured studies to independently leading deep discovery.
  • Design impactful experiences: Create flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that make autonomous prospecting a trusted, high-value tool for sales teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Product Managers and Engineers, contributing to product direction while ensuring designs are feasible and impactful.
  • Measure and iterate: Establish or contribute to success metrics, gather feedback post-launch, and continuously improve experiences.
  • Grow the design culture: At senior levels, mentor peers, contribute to our design system, and shape our design practice. At product designer levels, actively learn and contribute, building toward leadership in the future.

Competencies

We’re looking for a designer who thrives at the intersection of user empathy, product strategy, and execution.

  • Human-centered design thinking: Strong ability to frame problems, generate ideas, and prototype solutions with a focus on customer outcomes.
  • User research & testing: Skilled at conducting discovery interviews, usability testing, and synthesizing insights into actionable design decisions.
  • Interaction & visual design: Expertise in designing elegant flows, layouts, and visuals that are consistent, accessible, and intuitive.
  • Prototyping & storytelling: Ability to bring ideas to life through clickable prototypes, motion, and compelling design narratives that influence stakeholders.
  • Collaboration & communication: Comfortable working in cross-functional teams, influencing product direction, and advocating for the user perspective.
  • Product & technical fluency: Understanding of the software development lifecycle, particularly in B2B SaaS or AI-driven applications.
  • Adaptability in ambiguity: Ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to change, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of product design experience, with the title (Product Designer or Senior Product Designer) aligned to experience and scope.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work on software products, with examples of both process and impact.
  • Proven experience in B2B SaaS platforms, ideally in sales tech, automation, or AI-driven products.
  • Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma preferred).
  • Familiarity with design systems and accessibility standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present designs to a range of stakeholders.
  • Bonus: Experience in startups or high-growth environments where you’ve taken a product from early stage to scale.
