About The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
- Perform reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Supervise junior accountants and provide guidance on complex accounting matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and financial planning.
- Provide management with accurate and timely financial analysis and recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
