Nursing Tutor / Nursing Faculty

Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Nursing Tutor to teach, mentor, and guide nursing students in both theoretical and clinical subjects. The tutor will support students in building strong clinical knowledge, practical skills, and exam readiness while maintaining academic standards.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Academic Support

• Deliver lectures and tutorials for nursing subjects (ANM / GNM / BSc / MSc Nursing as applicable)
• Explain nursing concepts clearly using examples and case studies
• Prepare lesson plans, notes, and study materials
• Conduct revision sessions, doubt-clearing classes, and exam preparation
  
  

Clinical Guidance

• Guide students in clinical procedures and patient care practices
• Support students during clinical postings and practical exams
• Ensure adherence to nursing protocols and ethical standards
  
  

Assessment & Evaluation

• Prepare question papers, assignments, and practical evaluations
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain academic records and attendance
  
  

Student Mentoring

• Mentor students on academic progress and career guidance
• Encourage professional behavior and confidence
• Address learning gaps and provide individualized support
  
  

Administrative & Compliance

• Follow nursing council and institutional guidelines
• Participate in faculty meetings, training, and curriculum development
• Assist in accreditation and inspection activities
  
  

Required Qualifications

• BSc Nursing / MSc Nursing / GNM (as per institution requirement)
• Valid nursing registration with State Nursing Council
• Strong subject knowledge and teaching ability
  
  

Skills Required

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to simplify complex nursing concepts
• Student-focused and patient-centric approach
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, PPT, online teaching tools)
  
  

Experience

• 15 years of teaching or clinical experience (freshers may apply where applicable)
• Experience in tutoring, coaching, or academic roles is an advantage
