The ideal candidate will manage staff, maintain inventory levels, implement store policies, and ensure the store operates efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning.
- Lead, motivate, and train store staff to deliver excellent customer service.
- Manage scheduling, staffing, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure effective product merchandising, display standards, and store cleanliness.
- Monitor inventory levels, track stock movement, and coordinate replenishment.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
- Drive sales performance and implement strategies to meet revenue targets.
- Analyze sales reports and KPIs to improve store performance.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and compliance guidelines.
- Manage cash handling, billing, and daily sales reconciliation.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams as needed.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory, store assets, and operational processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred).
- 38 years of experience in retail operations, including at least 12 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and improving store performance.
- Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and retail operations.
- Customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
- Experience in managing large-format stores or high-volume retail outlets.
- Experience in industries such as apparel, FMCG, electronics, supermarket, or specialty retail.
- Certification in retail operations or store management is a plus.
- Strong decision-making and organizational skills.
