Our portfolio includes world class Bovine phenotypic and genotypic data capture system via Vytelle SENSE and Vytelle INSIGHT which enables producers to accurately select desired traits to continually produce elite progeny, coupled with Vytelle ADVANCE In Vitro Fertilization Service, which enhances the speed at which genetic improvement can be made.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Director of Marketing leads Vytelle’s global marketing strategy, driving alignment across marketing, product and commercial teams to accelerate revenue growth and market expansion. This role is instrumental in both positioning and promoting Vytelle’s existing product portfolio and bringing new innovations to market and is responsible for driving demand generation, brand positioning and sales enablement to maintain a strong value proposition and competitive market presence. This leader will develop and execute marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, support commercial objectives and drive adoption of Vytelle’s technologies across global markets and balances strategic oversight with tactical execution ensuring Vytelle’s marketing efforts are agile, cost-effective and high impact. The Director will also manage external agencies and internal resources to maximize marketing return on investment and support commercial success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Marketing

  • Strengthen Vytelle’s brand presence and thought leadership in the industry
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data-driven, global marketing strategy aligned with Vytelle’s business objectives.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies based on market demand, competitive positioning and profitability to optimize revenue.
  • Oversee product marketing efforts for Vytelle’s existing and future portfolio, ensuring strong market positioning and competitive differentiation.

Product Commercialization & Market Expansion

  • Lead go-to-market strategies for new product launches, ensuring a clear and compelling value proposition.
  • Partner with R&D and product teams to translate technical innovations into market-ready solutions with strong messaging and positioning.

Sales Enablement & Commercial Alignment

  • Work closely with sales leadership to align marketing strategies with commercial objectives.
  • Lead the development of sales enablement tools, training and content that support customer engagement and conversion.
  • Generate, cultivate and deliver client leads to sales organization

Agency & Resource Management

  • Manage external agencies for paid media, content and digital execution, ensuring alignment with Vytelle’s objectives and budget.
  • Oversee marketing spend and efficiency, ensuring a balance between in-house execution and external agency utilization for maximum impact.
  • Establish KPIs to track marketing effectiveness and continuously optimize strategies.

People Management

  • Lead, mentor and develop direct report(s), ensuring alignment with Vytelle’s strategic objectives.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture, ensuring alignment between marketing, product, customer service and sales teams.
  • Identify resource gaps and optimize team structure to support Vytelle’s evolving needs.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent experience.
  • Proven marketing leadership experience, ideally in agriculture, animal genetics, biotechnology or related industries.
  • Strong background in demand generation, digital marketing and commercialization.
  • Experience in product marketing, go-to-market strategy and commercialization.
  • Expertise in sales enablement, messaging, and conversion optimization to support revenue growth.
  • Ability to manage external agencies, optimize marketing spend and budget oversight, and drive ROI.
  • CRM management and execution.
  • Strong PC skills including internet and Microsoft Office suite of products, specifically Word and Excel
  • Travel as appropriate

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work remotely from a home or office environment, maintaining a professional workspace conducive to productivity.
  • Regular use of laptop, phone and internet to communicate with teams, clients and stakeholders across time zones.
  • Ability to attend virtual meetings and travel for in-person meetings, conferences and tradeshows.
  • Ability to sit and work at a desk or workstation for extended periods.
  • Must have reliable internet access to perform job responsibilities effectively.
