Status: 4 days/ week (M-TH)

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Vytelle Contractor, you will experience first-hand how our global team of industry experts are working to bring a new certainty to performance, health, and genetic progress. Your responsibilities are as follows:

OVARIES COLLECTION:

  • To harvest ovaries from slaughtered cows at ABF Packing at Dublin, TX.
  • Will arrive at the location at 7:00 am to start collection at 7:15am.
  • Contractor will be provided access to the location and taught how to collect ovaries. A bucket for the collection will be provided by Vytelle as well as a Cut Resistant Glove
  • Count the number of ovaries collected and inform to the person responsible at ABF Packing. You will receive a paper copy of the invoice from ABF packing
  • After the collection, ovaries and the invoice should be brought to the Vytelle Texas training laboratory located in Fort Worth.
  • You will be responsible to get a new clean bucket at the Vytelle Texas training lab for the following day of collections.
  • You will collect ovaries from Monday to Thursday - EXCEPT ON VYTELLE'S HOLLIDAYS AND ABF PACKING HOLIDAYS
  • Notifies Aline Bonilla of unusual occurrences encountered during the performance of assigned duties

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current student enrolled at accredited U.S. school and/or previously graduated with Bachelor’s
  • Ability to travel four times a week to the slaughterhouse and collect ovaries.
  • Ability to stand for extended period of time to preform the incisions and retrieval of ovaries.
  • Ability to sit for an extended period of time to courier the ovaries from the slaughterhouse to the laboratory location
  • Flexible class schedule, if currently enrolled in school
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to details and technicalities
  • Excellent organizational and technical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
  • Dates are subjected to change based on weather conditions and holidays
